Central to my practice is the belief in the inherent strength and worthiness of each individual. Our human experience can be scary, confusing and overwhelming at times. Despite what brings you to therapy, know that with the right tools, these same experiences can become sources of profound growth and transformation.


Together, we'll explore the root causes of your concerns, uncovering connections between past experiences and current behaviour. We'll work to identify and address old patterns that may no longer serve you, paving the way for healing and wholeness.

In nature, the caterpillar does not yet know of it’s potential, and it is solely dedicated to one thing: survival.


The therapeutic process begins with acknowledging and exploring the current state of being. This stage can include introspection, identifying challenges, and getting curious about one's emotions, thoughts, and behaviours.


Maybe you feel stuck, fearful, angry, overwhelmed or you are lacking life purpose. Trauma, strains in relationships, and estrangement from loved ones are all sources that can all lead to overwhelming emotions and ways of being.

Therapy can be compared to the chrysalis or cocoon stage. We enter without knowing what to expect. We are curious. We know we are seeking some form of change.


We trust.


We allow the safety of the chrysalis to invite us to become introspective, reflective, and vulnerable. In this stage, profound growth and transformation occur at a pace that is right for you. We explore the root causes and unmet needs to develop insight and awareness.


Through this exploration and healing, new and more beneficial ways of being arise.

Finally, just as a butterfly emerges from the safety of the cocoon, therapy culminates in a newfound sense of self-awareness, acceptance, and growth.


We begin to integrate the insights and skills gained during therapy into our daily lives just as a butterfly spreads its wings and takes flight.


There is a lightness, increased resilience, and a greater sense of self.


The new outlook of flying and rising above our previous challenges gives us perspective to navigate our world with a renewed strength and self-awareness. There is freedom in post-traumatic wisdom.
